South Okanagan Valley Wine Appellations

Okanagan Valley, south vineyards stretch from the USA and Canadian boarder towns, Oroville and Osoyoos, north along Highway 97 and Black Sage Road to Oliver and Penticton.

As a prominent wine region and premier appellation in British Columbia, the Okanagan Wine Trail is a famous inland route to the Fraser Canyon from the Lower Columbia region o f the Washington and Oregon appellations. Known for its distinct sub-regions and their unique award winning wines and vineyard estates on the Black Sage Bench and Golden Mile Bench. The south region is a narrow chain lake valley with meandering trails and roads along Osoyoos, Vaseux, and Skaha Lake with vineyards sprawling up into the hills.
